Matcha Drinking Mix
The Matcha drinking mix is a great deal at DavidsTea, because it has Sugar Cane and Matcha together… so it is way cheaper I believe it is about $5.00 for 100 grams.
What you will need to make Matcha!
— Matcha Tea Whisk
— Matcha Bowl
— Matcha Spoon
— Place 1 Matcha Spoon of matcha into your bowl.
— Pour in about 80 ml of hot water (72C)
— Run your whisk under water, then whisk together the matcha and hot water until there are no clumps and a fine froth develops on top (20 seconds)
And the matcha is ready! And if you would like to make it a latte…..
You froth the milk!!! :D
And add the milk to the matcha
A Perfect Matcha Latte
I added a little cinnamon to the latte!
Bollywood Chai (Davidstea)
Ing: Black tea, fennel candy, ginger, cinnamon, cardamon, pink peppercorns, natural flavouring.
- 1 1/4 tsp per cup.
- Steep 5 min in 98C water.
One of the best teas at Davidstea! I’m not sure what about it is so much better than normal chai tea, but it is for some reason. I love this tea with a little bit of 1% milk and a little bit of honey, and a great book.
I give this 5 cups of tea out of 5!
Wonderful job David!
David’s Tea Checkmate (White Tea)
Pink Lemonade (rooibos)
Ing: Hibiscus, mango, rooibos, lemon peel, lemon mrytle, lemongrass, stevia, cornflower petals, natural and artificial flavouring.
-1 1/4 tsp per cup
- Steep 4-5 min in 98C water
So I have to say that was I totally afraid of trying this tea… because I don’t like tart tasting teas. But after my first cup, it was love at first sip. I totally think that I will be drinking this tea iced everyday this summer! Plus, it’s sweet so you don’t need to add anything to it. BEST ICE TEA EVER!
It tastes just like Pink Lemonade
Fantasy Island (Davidstea) Black Tea
Ing: Black tea, coconut flakes, freeze-dried raspberries, natural flavouring.
- 1 1/2 tsp per cup
- Steep for 4-6 min in 98C
I have waited a while to try this tea, because I don’t like the taste of raspberry in Chocolate Rocket from Davidstea. But I must say that I really enjoy the raspberry in this tea, it has a beautiful balance with the coconut that makes this one of my favourite in the morning.
I will be getting a tin of this the next visit at Davidstea. I’m very happy that I tried this one after all.
